Welsh Blue Pennant

With the increase in demand from Welsh Local Authorities and Architects, for using natural stone products quarried from the heart of Wales, BBS granite concepts have secured the supply of two new sources of material to meet this growing demand. Welsh Blue Pennant, quarried in Neath and within the Rhondda beds of the Pennant series of Carboniferous Sandstones, is now available from BBS for all aspects of paving works, predominantly available in thicknesses of 50mm, 63mm & 75mm and widths of 300mm, 450mm & 600mm in random lengths of 300mm-900mm, it is available in two finishes, diamond sawn and flame textured, which result in a blue grey colour.

Welsh Blue Pennant is renowned for its durability, extremely low abrasion values and very high frost resistance, and benefits from having extremely high slip resistant properties which is retained during wear.
